Our Event Venue
The location of Soul Sanctuary is uniquely situated seconds from the City of Durham while offering an oasis that feels like you are in the country. We offer both indoor and outdoor spaces that allow you to curate your own personalized experience. We strive to be particularly accessible to offering a space for BIPOC and Queer community centered events.

Our Farming Collective
A core goal of Soul Sanctuary is to effectively steward the land. Part of that goal is manifested in a liberatory goal to grow food, to grow jobs, and to grow community.
Today we are the home of two ongoing farming enterprises: Elijah’s Farm and Kindred Micro Farms. Working as a collective, we seek to support emerging farmers, culinary businesses, value-added producers, and culinary businesses by utilizing our spaces for one-time events and/or on an ongoing basis.

Soul Sanctuary today is an event space. Soul Sanctuary is also a container for our vision of an intentional community that offers accessible housing, food security, and supportive spaces for LGBTQIA+ Elders.
